We have our very own trail dog here at homemadeADVENTURES that comes with us every where we go. We believe that using natural eco skin care products on our dog is as important as on ourselves.

This natural and delicate dog shampoo bar contains Neem oil, which is deeply moisturising, the small amounts of essential oils provide a light scent.

Whether your pet pooch loves the sea, open water or muddy puddle, anytime spent outdoors can dry your dogs skin out. ZWP have created not only an effective shampoo that cleans but also one that moisturises. So a 2in1 bar, all natural eco friendly shampoo bar -whats not to love!

Key Ingredients:

Olive oil: Highly moisturising and hydrating, highly penetrable, does not clog pores

Coconut oil: Moisturising, in saponified products it helps to increase lather

Castor oil: Highly moisturising

Shea butter: Highly nourishing and moisturising, perfect for extremely dry skin

Neem oil: Neem oil is an amazing gentle and deeply moisturising oil

Jojoba oil: Helps with moisture retention

Glycerin: Naturally occurring in soap-like shampoo bars, as it is a by product of saponification, it has great moisturising properties

Application

We suggest using an acid rinse after the use of this shampoo bar to eliminate any residue and leave the coat soft and shiny.

Acid Rinse Recipe

An acid rinse has multiple benefits, it will balance the PH, it will help remove any soap residue and it will leave fur soft and shiny!

Recipe: 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar/white vinegar OR 1 tsp of citric acid 500ml of water - mix your acid ingredient with the water in a spray bottle - after washing your hair, spray the solution on your roots and lengths - let it rest for for 1-2 minutes and then rinse well.

Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

ACV has antiseptic and antifungal properties and is a natural, safe relief for dry & itchy skin and is safe to use on dogs.

Here at homemadeADVENTURES our dog has sensitive skin which often becomes itchy and flaky due to environmental allergens. So, once a week we apply an ACV and water dilution to her skin and fur. It has worked wonders! Reducing scratching and redness.

Please keep this soap on a soap dish and let it dry evenly to make it last longer.
